About Book

  • Title : Before You Get Angry
  • Language : english
  • Genre : non-fiction

Before You Get Angry is my debut book. It is written with an intent in mind that no one should live a life of regret. Regret of losing someone by saying harsh hurtful words; regret of unable to save their loving relationships because they were unable to manage their ego and anger; regret of damaging loving relationships, which could easily have been saved by using few words of love. It’s a deep reflective book on insightful and transformative exploration of anger, a human emotion which most commonly misunderstood. Drawing from my personal experiences, through studying ancient wisdom from Vedic scriptures and texts, psychological insights, anecdotes, analogies and my intellectual use of metaphors, I offer a compelling guide to recognizing, managing, and ultimately transforming anger into a source of self-awareness and personal growth. This book offers a structured approach to understanding anger from its roots, its impact on relationships – both in personal and professional landscape, and I have shared practical strategies to navigate this intense emotion with wisdom and clarity. Core Themes The book is divided into five parts, with each one addressing a crucial aspect of emotional awareness and transformation: 1. What You Are Not Taught About Anger – This section challenges the conventional views of readers on anger and highlights how our upbringing, environment, and societal conditioning shape our emotional responses. Author’s, being a highly emotionally aware human, has used this niche on creating sudden enlightening moments of emotional awareness in the readers consciousness to pause, step back and to reflect on their emotions through a new lens; and he has done it by an intelligent way of using analogies, real-life stories, and spiritual references. 2. Recognizing Anger – Anger is never an isolated emotion but a culmination of underlying feelings such as frustration, disappointment, and resentment. By the means of self-reflective exercises and storytelling, the author aspires to help readers identify the early signals of anger before it manifests into destructive behavior. 3. Managing Anger – This section introduces powerful techniques for anger regulation, including mindfulness, cognitive reframing, and emotional intelligence practices. The Author has shared practical methods to prevent anger from controlling our decisions and interactions. 4. Transforming Anger – Instead of suppressing or reacting impulsively, the book teaches how to channel anger into positive actions. Readers learn to cultivate acceptance, empathy, and emotional resilience to turn anger into a force for personal growth. 5. Using Anger Strategically – Unlike traditional anger management books that advocate suppression, Before You Get Angry acknowledges that anger has a role when expressed mindfully. This final section explores how to use anger constructively in leadership, negotiations, and advocacy without causing harm. Unique Selling Points • Blending Science with Spirituality – The book integrates modern psychology with teachings from the Bhagavad Gita, Buddhism, and other spiritual philosophies to offer a holistic perspective on anger. • Deeply Personal & Relatable – Author has shared his own experiences with anger, including a powerful story about his father’s passing, making the book emotionally compelling. • Actionable Strategies – Readers are provided with practical exercises, reflection prompts, and real-world applications to implement immediately. • Relevance – In today’s hyper-connected, stress-filled world, anger is an everyday challenge. This book is a much-needed guide for individuals, professionals, and leaders seeking emotional mastery. Target Audience Before You Get Angry is an ideal book for readers who are seeking personal development, want to build their emotional intelligence, and self-awareness. Unknowingly, it’s a book, whose practical use can save strained relationships from reaching a breaking point. It will appeal to: • Professionals & Leaders who struggle with workplace stress and interpersonal conflicts. • Individuals looking to improve relationships by managing emotional triggers. • Coaches, therapists, and counsellors seeking a practical resource for their clients. • Readers interested in self-help, mindfulness, and spiritual wisdom. • Readers who wants to improve the quality of their relationship.
